Jeremy Knight, Director of Family Ministries/Associate Music Director

Jeremy Knight is a professional singer, music teacher, and choral conductor. He is
a classically trained musician holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He has 16
years of experience as a Director of Music serving the church. He is passionate about
using his talents to engage the church community in liturgy and worship. He enjoys using
his varied music abilities to invite growth from the younger generation and serving the
needs of the whole family. During his church career, he has directed and grown thriving
adult choirs, children choirs, hand bell choirs, and praise and worship bands. He is
interested in many diverse worship experiences. He visited Taize, France in 2007 to study
its unique worship experience and has established that service at various churches.
Jeremy has also had a career as a professional music performer within operatic,
musical theater and various notable solo performances. He has been a music educator
both privately and as a school teacher. He has also been a guest choral clinician and a
judge for Arizona high school regional choir competitions.

In addition to music, Jeremy was chosen in 2010 by the Arizona Diocesan Youth
Director to be the first grant recipient to begin the youth ministry program at All Saints’
Episcopal Church in Phoenix. During his time there, he developed a youth program and
worked closely with the diocesan youth director to establish training programs for other
parishes throughout the Arizona Diocese . He served in that position for three years and
helped grow a vibrant family ministry program. Jeremy was also leadership for the
diocesan camp and conference centers’ summer program of which he led spiritual
formation and music 3 years.

He is a native of Tucson, Arizona and recently celebrated his 10th wedding
anniversary with his wife Raquel. They have both recently moved from Texas back to
Arizona. He looks forward to serving Christ the King Episcopal Church, which has a very
special place in his life as it is where he was confirmed, married and began his vocation
in music ministry.
