In-Person Worship for all three services begins again on October 3, 2020 with the following restrictions:
- 50 participants allowed for each service.
- Mask will be required to be warn.
- Social Distancing will be enforced.
Our Sunday 10:30 am worship services will continue to be Live Streamed weekly on Facebook and YouTube.
Christ the King will be doing a Facebook Live Stream (starting 3/22/2020), which will include Morning Prayer, Sermon, and Music. If you do not have a BCP at home, you can download this 1979 Book of Common Prayer or use one of the online resources at the bottom of this page. Individual files for morning prayer are available here.
Note: You do not need a Facebook account, but may be prompted to create one. Just click “Not Now” on the popup and you will be able to access the Livestream.
If you want to see the videos later, they will be available on YouTube after the service as well.
On March 16th, Bishop Reddall sent out a letter to all congregations in the AZ Diocese and instructed churches to discontinue services until at least April 20th:
I am instructing all of our congregations to cancel all in-person, public worship through at least April 20, and I expect it will be likely to continue longer, as the CDC is recommending cancelling 8 weeks of public gatherings. I also instruct our congregations to cancel all public events involving more than 10 people during this time, including classes, rehearsals, and meetings. All in-person Diocesan events during this time are also cancelled or being moved to online platforms.
