Art Gallery

Our Creations in Art Gallery is Open on Sundays September-May

Located in the Library, Christ the King’s Creations in Art gallery is open on Sundays before and after the Adult Forum (9:15-10:10  a.m.), following the 10:30 service and on special occasions from September through May. The gallery features the work of parishioners, their extended families and, by invitation, other local artists and craftspeople. Guests and the public are welcome so please feel free to browse and meet the artists who are often on hand to discuss their work. 20% of all proceeds from gallery sales benefit parish projects.

Jane Gray is our featured artist for October

A long-time parishioner at Christ the King, Jane Gray loves to spread joy through her own multi-media artworks, but did you know she is also a founder of our popular Creations in Art Gallery? Jane explains that “We started the gallery several years ago to 1) fill those library walls, 2) encourage parishioners to mix and mingle and 3) welcome visitors and newcomers. I think it has been effective in meeting all three of those goals!

During the month of October, the gallery will feature new watercolors and photos from Jane’s travels in Panamá and Canada. Her show will also include works she created in each of the countries in which she lived during her 20-year career in the US Foreign Service.  Stop by before or after church and say hello.

We are pleased to announce
